Job Description:
Tier One automotive company located in Battle Creek Michigan is looking for an Engineering Supervisor
JOB DUTIES
Oversee Quality, Safety and Process Development / Process Improvement activities within the manufacturing processes. Ensures machining and support that our processes are safe, capable, efficient, and compliant with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across machining and inspection operation in order to improve operational performance. Drive safety performance through enforcement of plant safety policies, (incident investigations & implementation of corrective actions). Drives reduction of PPM, scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality.
REQUIRED 5
years' experience in a manufacturing environment 1+ years working as a technical or supervisory responsibility - will oversee 4-6 employees (quality technicians / process technicians)
