Direct Hire Location:
Dearborn, MI Shift:
2nd Shift, Afternoon / Evening- May train on 1st
Salary:
$60,000 to $70,000 based on experience We are engaged in a search on behalf of our client for 2 Production Supervisors in Dearborn, MI. These are direct hire opportunities on 2nd shift. This is a hands on leadership role in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily production operations while driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.
Please note:
This role requires significant overtime. Candidates must be willing and able to work extended hours as production demands require. If you are not looking for a position that requires overtime, this will not be the right opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and output targets
  • Supervise, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance
  • Identify production floor issues and take action quickly
  • Drive root cause analysis using 8D or similar methods
  • Monitor production data, downtime, and efficiency
  • Coordinate staffing, overtime, and shift coverage
  • Partner with maintenance, quality, and leadership to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with MIOSHA and IATF standards
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes and shop floor operations
  • Experience handling employee performance, attendance, and discipline
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with IATF, ISO, or similar quality systems is a plus
  • Willingness to work extended hours and overtime - Required INDQT
