2nd Shift, Afternoon / Evening- May train on 1stSalary:
$60,000 to $70,000 based on experience We are engaged in a search on behalf of our client for 2 Production Supervisors in Dearborn, MI. These are direct hire opportunities on 2nd shift. This is a hands on leadership role in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily production operations while driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.Please note:
This role requires significant overtime. Candidates must be willing and able to work extended hours as production demands require. If you are not looking for a position that requires overtime, this will not be the right opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and output targets
- Supervise, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance
- Identify production floor issues and take action quickly
- Drive root cause analysis using 8D or similar methods
- Monitor production data, downtime, and efficiency
- Coordinate staffing, overtime, and shift coverage
- Partner with maintenance, quality, and leadership to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with MIOSHA and IATF standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes and shop floor operations
- Experience handling employee performance, attendance, and discipline
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with IATF, ISO, or similar quality systems is a plus
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime - Required INDQT
