requirements. Responsibilities Supervise manufacturing floor operations, ensuring production schedules are met with high quality standards. Manage and coordinate assembly line activities, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to facilitate efficient workflows. Enforce safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting procedures and manual handling protocols. Interpret technical drawings and production documents to guide mechanical assembly processes accurately. Lead team members by managing production or assembly teams, promoting lean manufacturing principles and process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety protocol adherence and manufacturing management policies at all times. Conduct regular inspections using measuring instruments and factory experience knowledge to maintain operational excellence. Coordinate preventive maintenance activities for production equipment. Helping the company transition from knowledge residing primarily with individual employees to documented and repeatable processes including work instruction & SOP, set up plans, standardized work, setup plan and critical training. Coordinate daily receiving and shipping activities & varify quality and quantity. Monitor material requirements, lead times, and inventory levels. Ensure finished products are packaged, identified, and shipped according to customer requirements. Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment when required. Coordinate freight and transportation requirements and maintain accurate records

implementation and mindset Experience 5+ years of manufacturing experience. Demonstrated experience leading or supervising production employees. Strong understanding of metal fabrication or a closely related manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Strong production planning and scheduling skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing problems. Experience with material purchasing and inventory. Ability to work effectively with production employees, suppliers, customers, and management. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft suite incl. Excel. Experience with an ERP/MRP system or demonstrated ability to learn one quickly. Ability and willingness to work directly on the shop floor. Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage manual handling tasks efficiently.
