full-time We're recruiting a Production Team Lead for a growing non-automotive manufacturer in Clinton Township, MI. This is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity. In this role, you'll lead a team of six employees in the final inspection department, helping prioritize daily work, support your team, and keep production moving while ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting their team, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead and support a team of approximately six employees in the final inspection department Assign daily work and help keep production on schedule Ensure finished products meet quality standards before shipment Coach, support, and motivate team members Communicate daily production priorities and help remove obstacles Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools, including Gemba boards, to help monitor production Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience as a Production Team Lead, Manufacturing Lead, Group Leader, Shift Lead, or similar leadership role Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and keep production moving efficiently Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Gemba boards is preferred Why Apply?
