Summary:
As a Manager of Technology, you are responsible for leading production and engineering teams to meet the requirements for the customer in a safe a timely manner. This position is responsible for driving world class manufacturing performance by developing a talented workforce through planning, coordinating and executing its manufacturing processes. You will monitor the production of lithium ion battery related materials, products, and equipment to ensure accurate, targeted volumes are produced at the highest quality and lowest cost while providing support to their production team members and removing obstacles to their success.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the development of new products for manufacturability and assigns work projects to Engineers in the department Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant working area Conduct daily morning meetings, review production and yield goals, quality data, inventory, and company news with team and upper management Lead VIP tours of the department Work with production to ensure that manufacturing processes are operating in the most efficient manner possible Oversee equipment quality to ensure it is functional, in good repair and within safety codes Develop training systems and coordinate activities to ensure engineering proficiency Oversee the RFQ process to ensure competitiveness in the market for new products, equipment, and services Prepare and monitor budgets, develop various reports, develop Action Plans and approve overtime, if necessary Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assist in the problem solving process Manage incident reports, safety alerts, and safety training for new employees and visitors Schedule and present at monthly department meetings Maintain good morale and a positive working environment Ensure documentation with the state is updated through the internal document control system Manage quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions Ensure KPIs are up to date and communicated Submit electronic approvals (EAs) for invoices, parts orders, and organizational changes Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
7 to 10+ years of experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing in a highly automated setting 3 to 6+ years of experience leading and managing multiple processes Experience with large production lines and floor management Experience implementing 5S principles preferred Supervisor experience in LGESMI preferred
