Summary:
The Vision Systems Supervisor oversees daily vision systems operations while maintaining a safe, productive, and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for leading, training, and developing team members, ensuring equipment and inspection systems are operating effectively, and supporting Safety, Quality, Cost, and productivity goals. The Supervisor will provide clear expectations, frequent feedback, coaching, and accountability while working closely with internal departments and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Direct, coordinate, lead, and mentor team members in daily vision systems activities. Train new team members on equipment operations, inspection processes, and safety procedures, or assign training to experienced technicians. Oversee PC-based inspection programs developed by vendors using various inspection logic. Manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of relay logic, inspection flow, and control components, including photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders. Review charts, work orders, production schedules, reports, and other records to determine production needs and evaluate current output. Plan, establish, and assign work schedules, assignments, and work orders to meet department goals. Develop and track team and individual KPIs and goals. Support team member development through coaching, feedback, performance management, and documentation. Enforce company policies, safety rules, procedures, and applicable regulations. Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth operations. Document, review, and follow up on SOPs. Ensure team members are using time effectively and completing assigned tasks and work orders. Partner with management and peers to resolve team member concerns, complaints, or grievances. Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, specifications, blueprints, and job orders. Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Vocational Certificate or associate's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
3 to 6+ years of experience 1 to 3+ years of leadership experience
