Planning & Production Supervisor - Industrial Food Manufacturing

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Food Planning & Production Supervisor to oversee and enhance our beverage & flavor processing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with expertise in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage production processes, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and packaging teams. Monitor production output and equipment to meet daily production goals. policies. Train and coach employees on procedures, safety standards and quality assurance. Collaborate with maintenance to resolve production and equipment issues. Help supervise proper sanitation standards and daily cleaning duties. Report production issues, safety concerns and any other incidents to the management team. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Experience Proven experience in a managerial role within a food production facility or similar manufacturing environment. 3+ years of hands on management experience. Strong understanding of food production processes, including fabrication, packaging, and sanitation. Familiarity with CGMP regulations and HACCP principles is essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance enhancement. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Ability to be on their feet up to 8 hours a day and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance. Able to work flexible shifts if needed, including Saturdays. Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and any other production tracking systems. Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
