Job Description

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides support by directing the activities in production. Enforces company policies and procedures. Maintains production standards. Oversees that all quality and safety programs are followed. Is responsible for continuous improvement and cost reduction. Ensures that equipment and machinery are running correctly. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Provides quality leadership and support to ensure the quality system is carried out on the manufacturing floor. Facilitates training and communicates quality alerts to promote continuous improvement activities throughout the operation. Provides good communication (both written and verbal) between employees, management, and business associates. Qualifications Associate of Science degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, including applying 8 Discipline (8D) analysis and root cause analysis desired. Knowledge and understanding of cross-functional problem-solving teams. Working knowledge of Manufacturing software.
