Auto Body Shop- Floor Assistant/Coordinator Lakeside Collision (Shelby Twp) Shelby Charter Township, MI Job Details Full-time $1 - $22 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Driver's License Clean workspace maintenance School bus driving Vehicle parking operations Full Job Description Auto Body Shop Floor Coordinator As an Auto Body Shop Floor Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of vehicles throughout the shop based on their repair status. This includes organizing vehicles into designated work rows, staging completed repairs, and ensuring an efficient workflow for technicians. The ability to safely operate and maneuver a variety of vehicles, including semi-trucks, school buses, and other large equipment, is highly preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Move and organize vehicles throughout the repair facility according to repair status. Stage vehicles for technicians, estimators, and delivery. Safely operate passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, school buses, and other large equipment as needed. Maintain an organized and efficient shop layout. Clean and maintain shop work areas to ensure a safe and professional environment. Assist with general shop housekeeping and other tasks as assigned. Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Experience operating larger commercial vehicles is a strong advantage.
