Quality Containment Supervisor
  • Automotive Shift:
    Days
  • 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM | Afternoons
  • 4:00 PM to 12:00
AM Schedule:
Must be available to work 7 days per week and rotate between day and afternoon shifts. About the Company A leading service provider to the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Quality Containment Supervisor to join our team. The Quality Containment Supervisor will oversee daily operations, lead inspection and containment teams, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with automotive inspection and supervision experience , strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Team Leads, Lead Hands, Inspectors, and other assigned personnel. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are assigned appropriately and completed according to expectations. Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, attendance, and safety. Train and coach Team Leads, Inspectors, and employees on inspection, sorting, rework, checking, packaging, and containment procedures. Coordinate new projects, including staffing, physical layout, material handling, and operational requirements. Develop and communicate work instructions and ensure employees are properly trained. Ensure production and inspection targets are achieved. Identify and report quality issues and non-conformances. Assist with root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure all operations follow customer requirements, quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Address employee performance and work-related issues promptly and professionally. Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong customer relationships. Respond to changing customer requirements and ensure inspection criteria are communicated and understood. Allocate personnel and resources based on customer demand and business needs. Monitor project performance, profitability, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for improved processes, services, and business growth. Ensure best practices are implemented and understood at all levels of the operation. Complete required company and customer training. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in an automotive environment. Previous supervisory or management experience is required. Previous automotive inspection/quality experience is required. Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and quality initiatives. Experience with quality containment, inspection, sorting, rework, and/or production support. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Are you available to work 7 days a week and alternate shifts?
