Job Description

We are seeking a Tooling Supervisor to lead and oversee all aspects of tooling operations, including design, development, maintenance, and optimization of tools on their respective shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes with power tools, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the tooling department, managing a team of toolmakers and engineers on a given shift. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets performance and safety standards. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend tool life. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues. Maintain documentation related to tooling specifications, maintenance records, and process improvements. Responsible for life cycle of torque tooling i.e. Cleco, Atlas Copco and Estics.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of industrial automation maintenance experience, including some supervisory experience Strong knowledge of power tools, and manufacturing processes Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Familiarity with Crane systems and tooling lifecycle management Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
