Job Description
Summary:
The Service Foreman coordinates the daily workflow of vehicles through the shop, ensures that qualified technicians perform repairs correctly and efficiently and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign priority to each vehicle repair order and select the appropriate technician
- Oversee shop workflow
- Arrange contract repairs when work cannot be performed internally
- Inspect completed work and documentation
- Provide training and mentoring to new employees
- Monitor workspace and employees for Safety compliance
- Communicating with customers
Education, Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Valid driver's license, Class A CDL, preferred
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Project Management software and Microsoft Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail Truck Country /
