Opportunity:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor in our Megrine, Tunis location. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure aerospace components are produced safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role involves managing production staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a high-precision, regulated environment. You must be open to working an off shift.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members in accordance with company policies and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100). Supervise and coordinate multiple CNC machining teams through Team Leaders. Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets across all machining lines. Monitor overall shop floor performance (productivity, quality, delivery, OEE) and drive corrective actions when needed. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials. Oversee planning and prioritization of machining activities based on production schedules. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production concerns. Train, coach, and evaluate team members; enforce safety and operational procedures. Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports. Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial CNC machining environment. Proven experience in a supervisory or production management role (managing Team Leaders or large teams). Strong technical background in CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and industrial production systems. Solid understanding of production planning, capacity management, and workflow optimization. Experience in leading teams in a high-volume or precision manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage through others (Team Leaders). Good knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze production data and make operational decisions. Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple departments. Results-driven mindset with focus on efficiency, quality, and operational stability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred. Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or other regulated industry. Knowledge of aerospace standards and quality systems (AS9100, FAA). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with ERP systems and basic production reporting tools. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and safety best practices. Experience with ERP/MRP systems Experience implementing single-piece flow and managing material flow optimization Expertise in root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC). Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with internal clients at the highest levels of the organization. Willing to work weekends if needed.
