Full Job Description Group Lead Location:

Eden Prairie, MNCompensation:

$30.00 per hour 2nd shift differential: +$0.50/hour 3rd shift differential: +$2.00/hour

• 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday (Saturday as needed) 3rd

Shift:

10:00 PM

• 6:00 AM, Sunday-Thursday (Friday as needed) Leaders are expected to arrive ~30 minutes early and stay ~30 minutes after shift

This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met or exceeded. What You'll Do:

• Lead daily production activities to meet or exceed production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing tools Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, ensuring OSHA and company standards are followed Train, coach, and develop team members while driving engagement and accountability Ensure SOPs, work instructions, and quality systems are followed and properly documented • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain production efficiency What You Need to

Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of production leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S, continuous improvement, etc.

) Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at a college level Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in manufacturing or a technical field #metrocareers Ready to Apply?
