We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing team while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement remain top priorities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support production team members to achieve daily production goals. Assign work, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Train and onboard new employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies. Conduct performance evaluations and develop employee growth plans. Partner with Maintenance to coordinate equipment startup, shutdown, and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with Scheduling to ensure materials and production needs are met. Work closely with Human Resources to address employee questions, performance concerns, and workplace issues. Maintain accurate production records, employee documentation, and payroll-related information. Investigate and document workplace incidents and serve as a first responder for safety events. Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Ensure smooth communication and transition between shifts. Step into production roles when needed to support business operations. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience . Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound decisions under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Leadership, Production Control, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience in plastics manufacturing or recycled materials.
