As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will coach and supervise a group of Employees and Team Leaders in multiple work areas. This includes setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinating work activities of other supervisors within function, shift or value stream. Shift - 8p-6a Mon, 6p-6a Tues-Wed, 6p-12a Th (Shift Differential) What You Will Do Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Assures production output supports the production schedule and meets all applicable quality requirements Promote an environment of employee empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement through lean principles, compliance, quality, personal growth and development. Identifies opportunities for process improvement using problem solving methods to continuously improve quality, safety and efficiency of workplace. Provide coaching and mentorship to assigned teams and other Supervisors. Responsible for evaluating employee performance and opportunities for improvement, as well as all disciplinary actions up and including termination. Lead Tier Meetings to facilitate communication and problem solving between support team members. Participate in capacity planning by scheduling production areas, ensuring adequate staffing, verifying adequate material supply and adjusting Kanban levels. Monitors manufacturing area supplies and equipment and initiates purchasing requests as needed. Supports company policies and procedures in the area of plant safety and housekeeping Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures Perform other related duties as assigned What It Takes 5+ years of relevant manufacturing and/or operations management experience Experience in Lean Manufacturing (Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, A3, DMAIC Experience leading in a culture that values diversity , equity and Inclusion. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to motivate and influence a Team Coaching skills Planning/Project Management Skills Conflict Management and Interpersonal skills Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Bachelor's degree in an application discipline preferred Bonus Points For Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
