3rd Shift Supervisor Posted on August 20, 2026 August 20, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead and oversee production operations during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising a production or manufacturing shift and be comfortable managing employees, maintaining operational standards, and addressing issues in a fast-paced environment. Position Responsibilities Shift Leadership Supervise daily production activities during the 3rd shift and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards. Lead and support a team of approximately 25 employees. Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Address operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Production Operations Monitor production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and schedule requirements are met. Coordinate workflow and staffing to maintain effective shift coverage. Ensure procedures, safety requirements, and company standards are consistently followed. Communicate important production updates and issues to other shifts and management. Team Management Maintain a positive and accountable work environment. Support employee development, training, and performance management. Promote teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement across the shift. Prerequisites Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a production team. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively. Ability to work independently during an overnight shift. Willingness to work a Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM schedule. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Manufacturing, production, safety, or leadership-related certifications are a plus. $70,000-$95,000 annually.
