Full Job Description Position Title:
Technician Supervisor Shift:
Days- Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm
Summary:
The Technician Supervisor is an Advising position, responsible for leading technicians in an area (i.e.500 building) on a shift. This position is responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Technician development in the areas of catching, rewinding, assembly, and secondary (off press) processes. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Technician onboarding and development, supporting a meaningful associate experience: Scorecard, PDM, training, internal development plans. Ensuring technicians have everything they need to successfully perform the job in execution of the manufacturing plan: Training, accurate BOM/MOM, correct work instructions, materials, etc. Determining which technician is supporting which process daily. Ensuring schedule is met through prioritization utilizing ERP system. Ensure processes are meeting quality requirements.Ensure accurate job closing:
Tooling maintained, accurate inventory transactions, accurate labor transactions, line clearance, etc.Accountabilities:
Accountable to live the company Purpose, Vision, and Values. Accountable for your team supporting goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Support development process as needed through manufacturing transfer. Accountable for the development of associates. Training/Education/Experience Post High School education, preferably a degree or certification. 2-4 years minimum of leading others in a manufacturing environment. 3- 5 years manufacturing experience, 2 years medical manufacturing preferred.
