Advancement opportunitiesJob SummaryDirect the activities of all final assembly lines and paint to achieve the quality, safety, and service goals of the company.

Principal Responsibilities Supervise the operations of the assembly and paint teams.

Build and update production schedules.

Provide reports on quality and efficiency.

Look for continuous improvement opportunities to the processes used on the production floor.

Ensure all employees are aware and following safety policies.

Verify the safety of all machines and processes in Assembly and Paint.

Direct and confer with team leaders to meet the weekly ship schedules.

Work with teams to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.

Maintain adherence to company and agency policies.

Recommend and follow through the hiring and releasing of assigned production personnel as required to maintain production schedules.

Approve and adjust time cards and vacation of assigned employees.

Make additions and deletions to production schedule when needed.

Maintain good employee relations and take proper disciplinary actions when required.

Maintain records of departmental activities and achievements.

Maintain adherence to BOM and assembly processes.

Conduct all performance evaluations of assigned employees.

Hold regular department meetings to go over Safety, Quality, Productivity, and other issues of concern.

Perform other duties as required or directed.

QualificationsCompetenciesGood verbal and written communication, leadership, computer.

Training provided on-siteEducation/ExperienceFive years experience in manufacturing setting.

High school diploma or equivalent.
