Job Description Broad Function and Purpose of Position :
Responsible for effectively operating assigned shift while meeting company goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost. This particular open position is for a 12-hour shift in injection molding.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain a presence on the shop floor at least 90% of the time Ensure that plant safety rules are enforced Ensure that union contract and policies are enforced Work with materials and Quality to ensure delivery and quality requirements are achieved Ensure existing manufacturing processes are being followed: Start-up and shut-down procedures First and last piece inspection Hourly quality checks 5 S practices Safety devices in use and procedures followed SAP labeling process Meeting assigned financial goals and budgets Effectively managing shop floor, manufacturing operations including: Accurate reporting of production, scrap and labor in SAP Timely shift start-up and shutdown Adherence to production schedule: priorities and run rate Training, development and motivation of shop floor personnel Support local end users for knowledge gaps and overall digital process strength. Perform and support testing for new projects, change requests, upgrades, etc. Create incident tickets as needed for any technical issues. Continuously update training materials, testing information and process documentation. Participate with CPR for regional/global collaboration.
