Job Description

Overview:
The Production Floor Supervisor will train and improve vocational skills for individuals with disabilities for gainful employment. We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Production Floor Supervisor for our Liberty, MO location. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, coordinate, and document the production work
  • Demonstrate job duties to employees and observe them performing tasks to ensure they understand the job tasks and requirements.
  • Monitor the work performance at each employee's station to ensure compliance with procedures, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Accurately calculate and track piece rate count totals to ensure proper payment.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentoring and support to individuals in the workplace.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and (1) year of experience in manufacturing production supervisor experience or training.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to inspire trust and motivate others to perform well.
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
