Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manufacturing Plant Lead Worker to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and team members are supported in achieving operational excellence. As a leader on the floor, you will coordinate activities, manage equipment, and foster a collaborative environment that drives productivity and quality. This position covers 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm with some overtime. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Operate and oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for manufacturing processes. Assist in training new employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and assembly techniques to promote a skilled workforce. Maintain accurate records of production output, and safety incidents for compliance and continuous improvement purposes. Collaborate with quality control teams to identify issues promptly and implement corrective actions to uphold product standards. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on involvement. Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in operating power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance at all times. Experience supervising or leading teams in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable to motivate staff and coordinate daily tasks effectively.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
