Onsite A well-established manufacturing company in the St. Louis area is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily assembly operations and help keep production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands manufacturing and assembly processes and enjoys being involved with both people and production. What You'll Do Oversee the day-to-day operation of the assembly lines. Coordinate production schedules with the Production Scheduler. Ensure equipment is properly set up and ready for production. Train and oversee setup, sample, and operator personnel. Troubleshoot assembly equipment and labeling systems. Update bills of materials (BOMs) and routers when processes change. Monitor quality and ensure safety procedures are followed. Help maintain proper staffing and production flow. Work directly with the team to identify and resolve production issues. Balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with supervision and production demands. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of manufacturing and assembly experience. Previous supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience. Strong understanding of assembly processes and equipment operation. Mechanical troubleshooting ability and a hands-on approach to problem solving. Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices. High school diploma or equivalent. Microsoft Office experience. Experience working with an ERP system; Dynamics is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively and keep production moving in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Background Metal fabrication or welding experience. Technical degree. CAD or fixture/tooling design experience. Lean/Six Sigma experience.
