Search jobs Explore companies My job alerts Production / Assembly Supervisor Prosimo.io People & HR, Operations • Full-time St. Louis, MO, USA USD up to 70k / year Posted on Sep 4, 2026 Apply now Assembly Supervisor St. Louis, MO | Onsite | First Shift | up to $60,000 We are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead day-to-day assembly operations for an established manufacturing organization specializing in custom metal tube fabrication, tube bending, welding, and welded assemblies. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands manufacturing operations, can troubleshoot equipment and processes, and knows how to keep a production team safe, organized, and on schedule. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of the assembly lines Coordinate production schedules with the Production Scheduler Ensure assembly equipment is properly set up and ready for production Train, coach, and oversee setup and operator personnel Troubleshoot technical issues involving assembly equipment and processes Update BOMs and routers when manufacturing or assembly processes change Ensure employees follow quality and safety procedures Monitor staffing and workflow to keep production running efficiently Work directly with the team to identify and resolve production issues Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive assembly environment What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing assembly experience within a supervisory, lead, or team-lead role Strong understanding of assembly processes and equipment operation Ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues Solid knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures High school diploma or equivalent required Technical degree preferred Microsoft Office/Microsoft Suite experience Dynamics ERP experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a hands-on production environment Helpful Experience-- Experience with any of the following is a plus: Metal fabrication Welding CAD Fixture or tooling design
Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Schedule & Compensation Salary:
up to $70,000Schedule:
First shift, typically 6:00 AM-3:00 PM depending on production demands The position is exempt but includes additional straight-time compensation for qualifying hours worked beyond 96 hours over a two-week period and qualifying weekend work.
