Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) Req #366 Union - MFG, 850 West Park Road, Union, Missouri, United States of America Apply Share Job Description Posted Friday, August 28, 2026 at 1:00 AM Manufacturing Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations and support our second shift manufacturing team. This position is responsible for providing first-line leadership to hourly production employees involved in manufacturing, finishing, and shipping operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee staffing, production schedules, quality standards, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicates expectations, develops employees, and drives accountability while maintaining a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead hourly manufacturing employees to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives. Review production schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment resources to maximize efficiency and productivity. Assign and adjust staffing based on production demands and operational priorities. Communicate production goals, schedule changes, material shortages, and operational issues to employees and leadership. Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other support functions to resolve production challenges. Monitor workflow and production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coach, train, and develop employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conduct employee performance discussions, provide feedback, and support employee development initiatives. Maintain production reports, departmental records, performance metrics, and operational documentation. Participate in evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, processes, equipment, and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness. Promote a positive, inclusive work environment built on respect, engagement, and teamwork. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or operations environment. Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and achieve business results through others. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and organizational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Preferred Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or operational excellence initiatives. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
