Job Description

A well-established manufacturing operation in Pascagoula, Mississippi is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead production teams, coordinate work assignments, and drive daily operations from start to completion. This is a senior-level, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the floor, understands production drawings, and can build and direct a team to meet strict deadlines independently and with minimal management oversight. What you'll do Ensure all safety programs, policies, and procedures are followed; assist foremen in conducting safety meetings Review production drawings and determine production requirements, equipment, and procedures for each phase Coordinate work assignments and instruct employees in conjunction with Department Heads to ensure efficient work procedures Monitor production daily and requisition additional materials, equipment, and manpower as needed Coordinate with quality control managers to ensure product compliance with company standards and specifications Study specifications to plan construction procedures based on starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase Work overtime as required; report to work daily and on time What we're looking for 8+ years in operations and supervision is required — this is not an entry-level management role. Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and supervision High school diploma or GED; coursework in production management, industrial technology, or related field preferred Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and production drawings Proven ability to build, instruct, and direct a production team — strong coaching and interpersonal skills Operates independently with minimal management guidance — strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced production environment Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively across departments #
PPSHP Pay:
$39.00 - $45.00 per hour
