Job Summary:
Wise Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily production operations, ensuring employees work safely, efficiently, and meet production goals. Ensure all products are prepared according to detailed recipes and batch sheets, maintaining consistency and quality standards. Oversee the accurate weighing, measuring, staging, and documentation of raw materials, including batch records and ingredient traceability. Monitor inventory levels, report material shortages or discrepancies, and coordinate with management to minimize production delays. Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized while maintaining compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMP, and company food safety standards. Train, coach, and support production employees while promoting teamwork, accountability, and effective communication. Assist with production tasks as needed, including lifting and stacking materials up to 50 pounds, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Ability to read, interpret, and follow batch sheets, production documents, and work instructions with a high level of accuracy. Working knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, SQF, and GMP, is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail. Basic computer and recordkeeping skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
