Job Overview Sachs Peanuts is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mill Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our peanut milling department. This position is responsible for leading a small team, maintaining production efficiency, supporting food safety and quality standards, and ensuring equipment and processes operate effectively. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader with manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Duties Supervise daily milling operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals Lead, coach, and support mill operators and production personnel Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime Review production schedules and ensure adequate staffing and workflow coverage Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and workplace safety requirements Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational documentation Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Packaging teams Investigate and address production issues, quality concerns, and operational challenges Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or food processing experience Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and make sound decisions Effective communication and leadership skills Basic computer proficiency, including
