Job Description

Sachs Peanuts, family owned and operated since 1902, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our alternating first-shift cooking and packaging operations in Clarkton, North Carolina. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving team performance, accountability, and operational excellence across the facility. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and bring a strong hands-on leadership approach to the production floor. This position will play a key role in building and developing a production shift from the ground up, including hiring, training, coaching, and leading team members while reinforcing a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead alternating cooking and packaging production operations Drive startup readiness, execution, and shift accountability Train, coach, and develop production employees Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, SQF, HACCP, and company standards Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance Partner with leadership to improve processes and reduce operational issues Maintain strong floor presence and leadership visibility Support weekend and night production operations as needed
Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in food manufacturing or industrial production environments Strong communication, organizational, and accountability skills Experience with Alchemy and SafetyChain software required Experience with RedZone software strongly preferred Ability to lead in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and rotating schedules as business needs require Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
