JOB SUMMARY
Hog Slat, Inc. the world's leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Fans/Bill of Materials (BOM) Supervisor with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, NC Manufacturing location.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change. Plan and direct daily production schedules, assign workstations, and track output goals. Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout the day and end of shift Ensure effective employee relations; provide employee coaching and development; resolve employee issues through problem resolution according to company policies Ensure workers follow safety rules, wear protective gear, and maintain adherence to company policies. Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas. Approve timecards or payroll hours, manage shift logs, and report performance metrics to operations managers Track AbsenteeismSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
TheIDEAL CANDIDATE
will have the following experience/educational background: Two years in a supervisory/management role required Three years working in a manufacturing environment required A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others An ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
