Position overview We are placing a Floor Supervisor for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a manufacturing facility in the Morganton, NC area. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be on the production floor across multiple departments, not in an office. Upon permanent hire, this position transitions to a Floor Manager role with a corresponding salary increase. Immediate start. Schedule 8:00am - 5:00pm | 30-minute unpaid lunch break Position has the potential to transition to Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days upon permanent hire Compensation DOE (Depending on Experience) — salary increase upon permanent hire to Floor Manager Responsibilities Supervise and support production floor staff across multiple departments as needed Remain present and active on the production floor the majority of each shift Listen to team needs and implement direction from upper management effectively Hold team members accountable to attendance, performance, and safety standards Model and enforce a positive, professional demeanor conducive to team leadership Identify and address workflow issues in real time to maintain production efficiency Support onboarding and training of floor staff as directed Requirements 2-5 years of experience in a millwork or frame shop setting required Demonstrated leadership ability and people management skills Strong listening skills with the ability to implement direction effectively Stable, verifiable work history Positive demeanor conducive to managing and motivating people High level of accountability, reliability, and attendance How to apply Apply at laborconnectionsllc.com/careers or call our Morganton office at (828) 475-1444. #IND3
