Job Description
Eaton's Mobility division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor-3rd Shift. This is a full time role based at our Roxboro, NC manufacturing facility. 3rd
Shift Hours:
10PM-7:30AM EST The Production Supervisor is responsible to lead a team of machine and maintenance technicians to meet the safety, quality, and production goals of the facility. As well as organizing, planning, and monitoring all processes in within operations and developing goals and direction to help the plant meet cost savings, scrap reduction, throughput improvement, and new product introduction. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. ## What you'll do:- Plans and directs production/maintenance activities and establishes priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
- Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
- Plan schedule and coordinate all proactive maintenance.
- Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
- Reviews and analyzes maintenance metrics and operational reports to determine causes of equipment failure and reliability.
- Revise production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
- Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
- Support root cause analysis of unexpected equipment downtime in order to drive continuous improvement in proactive maintenance program.
- Compiles, stores, and retrieves production and maintenance data.
- Establishes and plans manpower requirements to ensure 100% on time delivery.
- Assigns and monitors new employee onboardings and current employee trainings.
- Initiates and maintains plant requirements to all mandatory environmental and safety regulations.
- Ensures compliance with safety and housekeeping practices, company policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in lean/5S/continuous improvement activities related to the facility as needed.
- Directs entire manufacturing process of assigned areas on the shift and coordinates with off shift supervisors.
- Counsels and evaluates employee performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned ##
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years experience in manufacturing and/or production
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a leadership or supervisor of people role

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience leading and educating production/maintenance teams and employees through change management (frequent changes, delays, unexpected issues to meet customer demands)
- Experience in the automotive industry ##
