Full-Time, Exempt Job Purpose:
As a Supervisor at PWT, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of a shift crew of 25 employees, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Your role will involve supporting corporate business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Ensure safety, quality and production goals are met Ensure company policies and safe operating procedures are followed Develop and administer crewing, training plans and backup coverage plans for the shift Ensure personnel needs are addressed appropriately Ensure equipment and raw material are properly set up and prepared to execute production schedule (Production department) Prompt and fair handling of personnel issues Manage tardiness, absenteeism, and vacations Identify the training requirements of each crew member Hold yourself and employee's accountable

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the department. Support all corporate improvement initiatives.
Operational Support:
Supervise Production Employees:
Manage daily work assignments, prepare work schedules, and oversee performance management.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare reports and maintain records according to guidelines. Participate in cross-functional teams, such as production meetings and safety committees. Assist with
Budgeting:
May assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets.
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork skills. Previous experience leading teams Previous experience managing safety in a production environment
Working Hours:
Supervisors should be prepared for flexible working hours, as crew assignments may change with minimal notice. This role requires adaptability, including the potential for unexpected shifts and the need to work beyond the regular shift. Supervisors can expect to work over 45 hours per week. Work Environment Office and manufacturing plant Temperature- High temps between 80-110 degrees. Depends on time of year Noise- Decibels can average around 90 dBA and reach peaks up to 115 dBA. Physical Demands 3 days on/3 days off, 12-hour shifts Shifts rotate monthly between 7am-7pm, and 7pm-7am Constantly- Sitting, standing, and walking. Occasionally lifting over 50lbs. Why Join Us?
