Job Description

Job Overview Marvin Composites is hiring a Shift Supervisor at our Fargo, ND location. In this role you'll lead a production shift within our manufacturing plant and help build a culture grounded in safety, accountability, and results. You'll create an environment where associates are developed and supported while ensuring operations run efficiently and stay on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll stay connected to the production floor, coaching associates, assigning work, and adjusting priorities as needs change. Success comes from building a strong team and delivering results across key metrics such as quality, productivity, and retention. Rotating Day Shift:
6:30 AM
  • 6:45 PM Week 1 (36hrs): Sun, Wed, Thur Week 2 (48hrs): Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat Enjoy a 3-day weekend every other week! Work just 7 out of every 14 days, giving you more time for family, hobbies, or rest. Highlights of your role
  • Lead and develop associates to build skills and strengthen team culture and engagement, aligned with Marvin Composites' mission and values, as measured by retention and turnover
  • Create a safe work environment by modeling safe behaviors and reinforcing commitment to safety standards, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, training, and housekeeping expectations
  • Ensure quality standards and drive productivity by effectively distributing work, developing associates, and monitoring performance against key metrics such as efficiency, uptime, and output
  • Utilize labor effectively to support on-time delivery, meet production schedules, and achieve operational targets
  • Lead clear and timely communication of company updates, production performance, and shift expectations through pre-shift meetings, reporting tools, and daily updates
  • Hold associates accountable to performance expectations through consistent feedback, attendance management, standard work practices, and regular one-on-one conversations
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, determining root causes, and leading structured problem-solving efforts through coaching and mentoring You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, required
  • Two-year degree or higher
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively lead and support your team
  • Analytical ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
