Job Description
Demolition Foreman Lincoln, NE | Approximately 90% Travel CL Construction is looking for an experienced Demolition Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the safe, productive execution of commercial, industrial, and structural demolition projects. This is a hands-on leadership role . You'll lead a crew, coordinate manpower and equipment, operate heavy equipment as needed, and make day-to-day decisions to keep the job moving safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with the Superintendent and project team to communicate progress, address issues, and make sure the crew has what it needs. What You'll Do Lead and direct demolition crews in daily field operations. Plan and communicate daily work activities, safety expectations, and priorities. Hold crew members accountable for safety, productivity, quality, and attendance. Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed. Coordinate manpower, equipment, debris removal, and material handling. Monitor production and communicate progress, delays, site conditions, and resource needs to the Superintendent. Identify jobsite hazards and ensure safe work practices and exclusion zones are maintained. Ensure work follows project plans, specifications, OSHA requirements, and company standards. Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns. Train and develop crew members through hands-on coaching and direction. Complete basic timekeeping, equipment records, inspections, and required project documentation. What We're Looking For Demolition or heavy construction experience required. Previous Foreman or Crew Lead experience strongly preferred. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Strong understanding of demolition safety and field operations. Ability to read and understand plans, scopes, and work instructions. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make sound decisions and work independently in the field.
