About RD Industries RD Industries is a manufacturing company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We design and build chemical containment and dispensing products that are used by customers around the world. Our team focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. At RD Industries, your leadership helps move the company forward. Job Summary The Assembly Manager leads daily assembly operations and helps teams meet safety, quality, and production goals. This role manages Assembly Team Leads and supports hourly employees by setting clear expectations, solving problems, and improving how work gets done. The Assembly Manager works closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning to ensure customer needs are met on time. This position is 100% on-site at our Omaha, NE location.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm What You'll Do Lead and support assembly teams and supervisors Plan daily work schedules and staffing needs Train, coach, and develop team members Make sure standard work and safety rules are followed Track production results like quality, efficiency, and downtime Solve production problems and make improvements Work with Maintenance and Quality to reduce delays and defects Communicate production goals, issues, and results to leadership Support hiring, training, and employee performance with HR Approve timecards and hours worked Promote teamwork, accountability, and safety What We're Looking For Strong leadership and people skills Ability to make decisions and solve problems Good communication and organization skills Experience leading teams in a manufacturing setting Ability to read schedules, drawings, and production documents Comfortable working with production data and basic computer tools Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred 5+ years of leadership or management experience preferred Experience leading supervisors or large teams is a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing floor environment Regular walking and standing Lift up to 40 pounds at times Use stairs, bend, and reach during the workday Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short‑ and long‑term disability 401(k) with company contribution Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (2+ weeks first year) 8 paid holidays Perfect attendance bonuses Employee referral program PayActiv - access earned pay early RD Industries is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer and maintains a drug‑free workplace.
