You will leverage your expertise in Lean methodologies and team leadership to optimize facility performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Direct all production activities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and efficiency targets. Champion a culture of workplace safety by maintaining 5S standards and enforcing rigorous GMP and food safety compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and root cause analysis to enhance OEE and reduce waste. Mentor and develop production staff, managing performance through structured coaching and effective leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve product value and service delivery. Monitor and report on key operational metrics, including cost control, turnover, and production throughput. Required Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional manufacturing experience. 5-7 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing or TQM methodologies. Experience navigating and leading change within a unionized workforce. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and structured problem-solving techniques. Preferred Skills Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Direct experience with SQF or ISO quality management systems. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale production support activities.
