Job Description

Production Supervisor Key attributes of the successful candidate include self-starter, organized, technical aptitude, great leadership skills, and ability to learn quickly, team player. Motivate team to meet assigned goals and expectations. The supervisor must have a minimum of three years experience in directing the work force, managing lines and assisting in the overall processes of production. Direct and supervise the activities of the production team and adherence to production schedules. Monitor the quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality standards. Oversee inventory levels, coordinating with the management team to ensure adequate supplies are available to meet production demands. Monitor production metrics such as yield, efficiency, and waste, and implement measures to optimize performance and reduce costs. Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, quality control data, and inventory records. Prepare regular reports for management review. Monitor and Maintain department staffing needs. Work together with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Production to achieve optimum results. Achieve KPI goals Activities requested per business needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate or Equivalent Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Manufacturing, preferably in food industry; Solid communication skills (oral and written) and effective interpersonal communication skills; Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills; Must be Self-Motivated, Energetic, Proactive, Creative and a Problem Solver; Sound knowledge and experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
