Job Summary The Shop Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the shop, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising shop staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide project execution. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure safety protocols are followed. Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in construction management. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation. Familiarity with construction management. Demonstrated ability in quality control processes within a shop environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. Willing to follow supervisor's job task and instruction on specific on projects.
