SUMMARY :

Responsible for supervising shift activities as directed by VDM Supervisor or Production Manager by performing the following duties. 7:00pm-7:00am on a 2-2-3 day schedule (weekends included) $25-$29/ hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Other duties may be assigned. Execution of schedule. QC First piece and monitor quality of all products produced. Responsible for complete and accurate shift maintenance reports. Execute tank/tool changes. Set up dip profiles for training operators. Operate machines as necessary. Produce samples requests when necessary. Ensures department is clean and orderly at shift change. Empties and reports shift scrap. Oversee all shift activities. Monitors and reviews daily, weekly, monthly machine yield efficiency, utilization, scraps. Responsible for root cause analysis for customer complaints. Active participation in continuous process improvement. Supervise up to 10 employees.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBIBILITIES

: Supervises VDM Operators, Packers and Utility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EXPERIENCE

: Associate's degree from two year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
