What You'll Be Doing Lead and coordinate plant operations in a quarry environment, ensuring safe and efficient production of aggregates materials to meet targets Monitor and optimize performance of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment; partner with maintenance to address breakdowns and minimize downtime Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, material quality, and cost efficiency across plant operations Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shift reports; ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company standards Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices, conducting inspections, and leading by example Provide direction and support to plant personnel, fostering teamwork, accountability, and operational discipline on 2nd shift What Are We Looking For Experience in aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments preferred Working knowledge of crushing, screening, conveying systems, and mobile or stationary plant equipment Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead crews in a high-production quarry environment Ability to interpret production data, identify trends, and make real-time operational decisions Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations (MSHA experience preferred) Hands-on problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, outdoor operation Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and operations teams Work Environment This position operates in an outdoor quarry and plant environment with exposure to moving equipment, varying weather conditions, dust, and elevated noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times. This is a 2nd shift role supporting continuous plant operations.
