Full Job Description Schedule:
2nd Shift - Monday-Friday, 4:15 PM-12:45 AM , with additional hours and Saturdays as needed. Supervise and develop a team of 8-10 employees , including training on department procedures and safety requirements. Manage daily production schedules, staffing, workflow, and productivity to ensure jobs are completed on time. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S/Lean Manufacturing practices to improve efficiency. Monitor quality, scrap, and rework , inspect materials/products, and take action to resolve production or quality issues. Work closely with Maintenance to maintain equipment and establish tooling repair and cleaning schedules. Maintain production and time records , manage materials/inventory, and communicate schedule or production changes with management.
Requirements:
Associate's degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience ; strong mechanical skills required. Experience with metal casting/extrusion, MRP, inventory control, Lean/5S, and Quality Control is preferred.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, hot and dusty manufacturing environment requiring PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
