Job Description

Job Overview The Supervisor Test Automation oversees the daily activities of manufacturing electronic technicians who operate, maintain and support the auotmated test systems on the production floor.

A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Supervise and support electronic technicians in the manufacturing automation team. Assign daily work, manage schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage Document Test Procedures for new and existing test equipment (jigs) to ensure proper use by production. Ensure automated test systems are operated correctly and consistently. Monitor test excecution, yields and failure trends, escalate as needed. Respond to and coordinate troubleshooting of test-related production issues to minimize downtown both in-house and at Contract Manufacturers. Partner with Manufacturing Engineering or Test Engineering to support test system maintenance, calibration and updates. Build duplicate test jigs to support production capacity. What will help you thrive in this role? Assoicates or Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of eduction and experience. 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing test environment. 2+ years of experience supervising or leading technicians in a production setting. Hands-on familiarity with automated test equipment and manufacturing operations.
