Job Description

Build Your Career - Apply Today! Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor leads and direct the shift operations, ensures daily production targets are met, and enforces quality standards and safety protocols. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the entire facility during their shift, especially when managers are not present (nights, weekends, holidays).

Schedule:
6am-4:30pm, Mon.-Thurs. Job Duties Maintain safety throughout the facility; immediately correct any safety concerns. Enforce proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, fall protection, and ensure all employees follow safety rules. Keep the plant clean and organized; poor housekeeping leads to safety risks and productivity loss. Ensure production lines operate efficiently with minimal scrap and high-quality output. Check production periodically, for product quality, packaging, and paperwork. Meet with Leads and key employees to communicate priorities and special circumstances. Follow the training plan provided by the Production Manager and encourage knowledge sharing. Address production issues immediately. Document and communicate any issues to the Plant Manager/Production Manager. Attend production meetings. Know the production schedule and upcoming product changes; ensure staff are prepared. Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and rules consistently. Report all injuries, emergencies, and significant events immediately according to company notification procedures.
