SHIFTS AVAILABLE
2nd
Shift:
Monday-Friday 3-11pm 12-hour
PM Shift:
2/2/3 schedule working nights from 7pm-7am, including every other weekend Supervisors are expected to arrive 30-60 minutes prior to shift and stay after 15-30 minutes.

Fast-paced, manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to work 2nd shift or 12-hour PM shift (2/2/3 schedule) . The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing an assigned production area, ensuring safety compliance and maximizing production to meet KPI goals. Daily you will report to a production manager.
Responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop your assigned production team while ensuring a smooth workflow, strict adherence to company policies, and high safety standards.
Production Planning & Execution:
Organize daily production activities, assign tasks strategically, and ensure all deadlines and production targets are met.
Process & Quality Monitoring:
Track process performance, workflow efficiency, and product quality; identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, and escalate critical issues in accordance with policy. Safety, Compliance & 5
S:
Enforce safety procedures and industry regulations to promote a zero-incident environment, while actively participating in and evaluating 5S performance.
Continuous Improvement Support:
Collaborate with KTA improvement teams and allocate resources to enhance production methods, equipment, and operating procedures to drive down costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate seamlessly across shifts and partner with Supply Chain Management (SCM), Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality departments to optimize overall workflows.
Training Strategy & Cross-Training:
Define and lead the team's training strategy to ensure position redundancy and maintain an up-to-date cross-training matrix.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records for time, attendance, and production outputs, generate regular performance reports, and communicate operational status clearly to management. This is a hands-on supervisory position that requires qualified candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 80-90% of the day. Candidates should be able to coach and mentor their team, be able to collaborate with other peers and team members, push to optimize production goals and work in a team-oriented environment. REQUIREMENTS
for the
Production Supervisor :
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED 2. At least 2-3 years of similar production supervision 3. Experience overseeing at least twenty people at a time 4. Willingness to work off shifts long-term 5. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Skills preferred but NOT required: 1. Automotive manufacturing work experience 2. Non-union supervision 3. ERP experience 4. A strong mechanical aptitude 5.
