Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide SUMMARY The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for the development, coordination, leadership and continuous improvement of designated work areas. This position empowers hourly workforce to accomplish 100% quality, responsiveness, production, customer service and safety in a team-based environment. Key position results include but are not limited to, equipment is staffed and running safely and efficiently; timely performance evaluations; interaction management procedures are followed; and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented and tracked. A successful candidate is an organized, analytical, problem-solver with the ability to work efficiently and effectively with other functional areas to meet or exceed quality and delivery requirements. Also has solid leadership skills and a background in the relevant area (welding, assembly, paint, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group. Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees. Manages performance evaluations, interaction and disciplinary process. Manages staffing and scheduling (including overtime and vacation). Assists teams (including maintenance and engineering) with continuous improvement initiatives (driving safety, quality and process efficiencies). Manages goal setting, tracking and communication. Identifies training needs and coordinates cross-training opportunities. Acts as facilitator between operations support teams and other departments. Assists sales, Production Control and Production Coordinator in expediting critical orders. Assists quality and technical services in resolving quality issues

• customer claims, corrective action as assigned by technical services and quality department. Participates in safety meetings, investigations and audit reporting to superintendent. Serves on Safety Steering Committee and provides support and direction for Safety Manages reporting verification
• daily production, daily maintenance downtime
• report root cause analysis, daily call off, and safety audits.

Consistently maintain production averages at or above the expected standards. Other duties as required and assigned.
