Production Supervisor High Bar Brands - 2.3 Columbus, OH Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $82,000 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Inventory management systems Computer operation ERP systems Computer skills Full Job Description Job Summary The Production Supervisor will oversee the activities, production, shipping, staff, and schedule of the assigned operating shift. Supervisor Responsibilities Recruits, interviews, hires, and ensures training is completed for new employees and new roles in the facility. Oversee the daily workflow. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Working with the Operations Manager to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly revenue plans. Plans, gives, directs work and scheduling deadlines. Ensures efficient operations through collaboration, communications, and coordination with other departments to drive on-time delivery performance to stated goals. Maintain data integrity in the ERP system including inventory, work order reporting, and shipping. Facilitates and participates in daily workflow; solves workflow problems that may arise. Resolve routine equipment issues. May step in and act as a back-up in a manager's absence. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong and effective communication skills; both verbal and written. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Material handling experience with equipment; forklift, electric pallet jacks Computer literate with experience using Excel and ERP systems necessary. Thorough understanding of operation policies and practices. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Page Break Work performed in a factory setting. Capable of maneuvering, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 lbs. Able to stand for eight -10 hours per day. Able to reach with hands and arms. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent GED At least two - four years of manufacturing experience. Supervisory or lead experience is strongly preferred.
