Senior Plant Operations Supervisor Location:
Western Ohio Compensation:

$75,000-$90,000+ base salary, plus annual bonus Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate Our client, an established and growing agricultural manufacturing and production organization, is seeking a Senior Plant Operations Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations at one of its Ohio production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, hands-on operations leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing employees, improving processes, and taking ownership of a production environment. The company is much more interested in finding a proven leader with the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to connect with an hourly workforce. The Opportunity Reporting to the site leader, this individual will have responsibility for daily plant operations including production, warehousing, packaging, receiving, storage, maintenance coordination, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The operation can grow to approximately 15-20 employees during peak production season , with a combination of full-time, temporary, and seasonal employees. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will spend significant time on the plant floor working alongside the team rather than managing exclusively from an office. Key Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and supervision for plant and warehouse employees Hire, train, develop, and supervise temporary and seasonal employees Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety programs Coordinate production, packaging, warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities Develop and communicate production and packaging schedules Ensure customer quality and production requirements are consistently met Support and maintain quality management processes Ensure preventive maintenance programs and schedules are followed Maintain appropriate inventories of critical maintenance parts and supplies Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve productivity, safety, quality, and efficiency Ensure accurate completion of production and processing documentation Partner closely with site leadership and other operational functions Help build a positive, team-oriented culture throughout the facility What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on, servant-style leader who earns credibility with employees and is comfortable leading from the floor.

Ideal candidates will have:

4+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, agricultural, or similar operations Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an hourly workforce environment Strong people leadership and team-building skills Experience with safety, quality, production, maintenance, or continuous improvement Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort working in a fast-paced, seasonal production environment Solid computer skills A stable work history and demonstrated progression in responsibility A four-year degree is not required , and previous agriculture or seed-production experience is a plus but not necessary .
