Crew Foreman

Here at Clean-Line , we are a family-owned and have been in business since 1976 . We are a seasonal business and get the majority of our work done between the months of May-November. In the off-season we work on equipment, clean equipment, and make improvements to our processes to make the next season more efficient and successful. At the very minimum, we have 3 crews running in the busy summer months. One is for commercial sealing, one is for residential driveway sealing, and one is for parking lot striping. We use coal-tar emulsion based asphalt sealers that chemically bond to asphalt in ideal conditions over 50 degrees Fahrenheit, which is why all of our work must be done in the warmer weather. The products and methods we use all meet or exceed federal and state specifications. This position is for a Commercial Sealcoating Foreman who we will be training on equipment and safety procedures. Knowledge in this field is not necessary but helpful. The list below are the considerations we would like you to meet if applying: Clean driving record, valid driver's license necessary (CDL a plus) Must be able to pass drug test and random drug tests throughout the season HS degree or equivalent (2 or 4 yr degree, special certifications helpful but not necessary) Be mechanically-minded, and a problem-solver Be a timely person and be open to having a flexible schedule Experience managing at least a 3-person crew Great communication skills, be personable! Be detailed and and neat with work (brush-work and squeegee work) Be able to work in hot weather at times Follow all OSHA safety standards and follow directions to ensure safety of yourself and others (PPE, shirts, and training will be provided) Be a leader, make informed decisions, and use common sense on a jobsite Be organized Ask questions if you don't know something! We learn new things every day. Pay grade for foreman position begins at $22/hr (negotiable based on experience) with additional raises if you meet goals!
