Job Description

Job Purpose Supervise production associates on daily basis Job Duties and Responsibilities - Essential Function of the Job
  • Monitor associates.
  • Initial point person for associate's questions and concerns
  • Assist in monitoring attendance and payroll adjustments
  • Working knowledge of all processes within production/ cover positions as warranted
  • Training new hires / cross training
  • Assure all associates are working in a safe work environment and following safety procedures
  • Carries out directives from production manager as to work flow between and within departments;
  • Ability to work with different groups in the facility. Consults with the manager on procedures and methods and follows up on the effectiveness of those procedures.
  • Look for ways to improves efficiencies
  • Responsible for making daily loads and work closely with Production Manager reporting on short falls/ exceptions in the day's activities
  • Monitor inventories in production.
  • Monitor the quality of the product
  • Attend all monthly Safety Council meetings
  • Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
  • Two to five years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work with people of all educational backgrounds
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree, preferred Physical Demands/Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand or sit all day
  • Ability to drive a tow motor
  • Occasional heavy lifting
  • Ability to multi-task
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
